COVID REHAB TRAINING

A few weeks ago, a client of mine pointed out that our workouts had really helped him recover more fully since his recent battle with COVID-19. He then postulated that perhaps we should market our services to those folks who are still struggling to regain their strength and stamina post-COVID. I believe he was right. Having trained several clients who’ve been afflicted with the virus (and having experienced its effects first-hand), I believe our trainers are more than qualified and capable of helping folks get back to living the life they want to live after contracting the virus.

In all reality, COVID Rehab Training won’t actually look that different from how we would normally train any other client. The biggest differences, however, will be that we will insist on obtaining a signed Medical Release Form from your physician (to give them a chance to share any thoughts or concerns they might have), and the intensity at which we proceed during your workouts. Over the course of the nearly two years which have passed since our world changed, it’s become apparent that COVID can affect different people in different ways. To better-tailor your workouts to your personal needs and abilities, we’ll employ the use of a pulse-oximeter at the beginning and end of your workouts (and throughout, as needed), to ensure we’re training smarter - not necessarily harder!

It is our belief that by embracing modern technology (like our pulse-oximeters), and utilizing time-tested exercise strategies (while operating within the boundaries of limitations set by your physician), we can help you (or your loved ones) make more complete recoveries - in far less time than might otherwise be the case. So whether you need to lose weight, gain strength, or rebuild your cardio-respiratory capacity - we’re here to help you!
