10 Years, 1 National Championship and Hundreds of Clients
I met Kristin Gronenthal in Denver, Colorado, in August 2004. At the time she was attending the University of Nebraska at Kearney, on a softball scholarship. She played first base and was enrolled in their pre-med biology program. But by the fall of 2005 she’d transferred to UNO, switched her major to exercise science, and joined me as a Certified Personal Trainer at 24 Hour Fitness.
10 years later, I’ve seen Kristin do so many amazing things, not only as my wife, and the mother of our two amazing little men, but as an athlete and trainer as well. In the fall of 2007 she agreed to pursue the launch of Kennedy Fitness, and by April 2008 we’d done it. In the fall of 2011, after just 5 weeks of training, she won the IBPA Women’s Powerlifting Nebraska State Championship. And on December 17, 2011 Kristin dominated all three events, and became the 2011 IBPA Women’s Powerlifting National Champion!
Most importantly to her clients though, Kristin has not been satisfied to settle for being a Certified Personal Trainer and co-owner of our company. She’s added the titles of Corrective Exercise Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist and Fitness Nutrition Specialist to her resume. Add this expertise to her friendly sense of humor and genuine desire to help her clients achieve better health and happiness, and it’s no wonder why so many of her clients love her in return!
Thank you, Kristin Kennedy, for all you’ve done for each and every one of us!
PS: We’d also like to welcome all our new subscribers from Catholic Mutual Group! We hope you enjoy this monthly newsletter (and your new group classes as well)!
