Evolution:  1)  The process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth.  2)  The gradual development of something, especially from a simple to a more complex form.

If you watch Jurassic Park, Steven Spielberg’s actors theorize that the dinosaurs that didn’t go extinct, evolved into birds.  If you’re a Porsche fanatic (like me), you’re no doubt aware of the ever so gradual evolution of the 911.  So what does the radical evolution of pre-historic monsters into robins, and that of a 50 year old German sports car have to do with your health and wellness?  In two words, NOTHING…and EVERYTHING!  

If you don’t evolve your diet and exercise routine you’ll eventually plateau.  Progress will slow, then stop.  If you continue without evolution, you’ll age while your stale routine fails to mature with you…and this will eventually lead to injury.  A good program will grow and change with you!  The same can be said for any successful business.  So how do you keep your business from becoming a Polaroid camera in this digital age?  EVOLUTION!  

We recognize that Kennedy Fitness isn’t immune to these facts of life and business.  That’s why we recently launched our network of websites.  It’s also why we’re already growing that network and expanding the scope of the sites within it!  We will always offer Private, Professional, Personal Training to our individual clients, but we’re very excited about the evolution of our brand into more and more businesses.  If your business is already working with us, thank you.  We appreciate you and your employees more than you may know.  If your business hasn’t engaged us to enhance their wellness program yet, please call us.  We’d love to help you EVOLVE your wellness program!

4 ounces (115 ml) canned tuna, drained
1/2 cup (115 ml) cucumber, chopped
1/4 cup (57.5 ml) tomato, chopped
2 tablespoons (30 ml) red onion, chopped
1 ounce (28.75 ml) crumbled feta
2 cups (460 ml) mixed greens
1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
1 tablespoon (15 ml) balsamic vinegar


Place tuna, cucumber, tomato, red onion, feta and greens in a large bowl. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the top and toss to coat.
